Persephone

May 29, 2010- Quiet no more. Persy is loud, opinionated and very, very funny. She is quite competitive and very focused. She is also particularly observant and spends much of the day pointing things out. “Mommy, Yook-it.”

She celebrated her second birthday with her first trip to Disneyland. She loved the Magical Kingdom and still sings “It’s A Small World” on most days. She is more interested in playing soccer than her sister.

April 2, 2010 – Persy is talking a blue streak, some of it is very clear and some is still just a string of unintelligible babble. She tells a knock-knock joke about apples and apple juice. She sings and dances constantly and has definitely hit her “terrible twos.”

That being said, she is still the sweetest and funniest kid I know. She is still quite shy around strangers and even people she has seen a few times but she is slowly warming up. She turns two in a month, it’s hard to believe that much time has gone by. She is getting her first real haircut (i.e., not Mommy cutting her bangs) this week.

December 4, 2009 – Persy is an entertainer. She loves to sing and dance and finds all sorts of funny things to do and say. She, like her sister, loves Tom & Jerry, which she simply calls “Cat”. Her favorite character right now is Dora the Explorer, who she calls Backpack. She has had a miserable cold for the past ten days and has been quarantined away from her brother but did seem very intrigued by him when she first saw him.

September 4, 2009 – Our little Persykins is talking, walking, and playing her own version of soccer these days. She loves to dance and will sing just to create a tune to move to. She spends much

of her weekday time with her Meme and Pop-Pop while her parents are at work.

She will eat anything – she is particularly fond of raisins, olives and noodles – not all at once.

She loves to sleep, just like her dad. She is one of the happiest, sunshiney-ist spirited people I have ever met. She is reveling being able to use her Baby Signs along with talking to get her messages across.
